LA Proclaims 'BTS Week'

The City of LA, City Tourism Department and the LA Tourism & Convention Board officially proclaimed September 1-8 as "BTS Week" in celebration of the band's four sold-out concerts this week. Mayor Bass, Councilmember Lee and Councilmember Hutt welcomed representatives from BIGHIT (BTS's record label) to City Hall, where a special proclamation ceremony was held to recognize BTS's accomplishments and contributions to global music and for uniting people from all over the world. Councilmember Lee introduced a resolution for "BTS Week" and City Hall was lit on September 1 in honor of the band. CTD is excited to welcome visitors who are in LA to see BTS perform the last leg of their North America portion of the ARIRANG World Tour.
