Airport Commission: There is a single opening for a new five-year term. Applicants must reside within the Nampa city limits or impact area. The Airport Commission is a volunteer commission comprised of five individuals who meet on the second Monday of each month at Mission Aviation Fellowship at 5:30 p.m. The commission recommends and makes suggestions to the council concerning the operation and maintenance of the municipal airport and its real and personal property belonging to the city.

The Board of Appraisers recommends rates, charges, or fees made and established under the authority of Nampa Code Title 3, Chapter 1 and Title 8, Chapters 1 and 2. These respective sections of city code primarily deal with rates for water, irrigation, and sewer services. The board also conducts hearings and hears appeals related to services, regulations, and fees associated within these respective codes. The board of appraisers' decisions must be presented to council for approval. The board meets quarterly at the Nampa Development Services Center.

Building & Fire Code Board of Appeals: There are seven openings for a two-year term. Applicants must be either a residential building contractor, a commercial contractor, working in the construction support industry, an Idaho licensed architect, an Idaho licensed structural engineer, and/or a citizen at large. The Building and Fire Code Advisory and Appeals Board determines the suitability of alternate materials and construction methods and provides reasonable interpretations of the International Building and Fire Codes and amendments. The board meets annually in February at the Nampa Development Services Center; additional meetings are scheduled if needed.

Golf Commission: There are two openings on Nampa's Golf Commission and would serve either a two-year or a four-year term beginning March 1, 2025. The Nampa Golf Commission was created to advise on the affairs of the two municipal golf courses, Centennial Golf Course and Ridgecrest Golf Club. All persons appointed to membership on the commission shall be duly qualified voters in the city, provided, however, one such appointed member may reside outside the city and does not have to be a qualified voter in the city. The Nampa Golf Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the Harward Recreation Center.

Planning & Zoning Commission: There are two openings that would serve a six-year term. One appointee must reside within Nampa's impact area, and the other appointee may reside within Nampa city limits or impact area. Many of the duties of the Planning & Zoning Commission are listed in the Idaho Local Land Use Planning Act (LLPA). By law, the commission plays a major role in all aspects of the local planning process. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m. in council chambers at Nampa City Hall. If they fall on the same week as the Nampa City Council meeting which occurs on the first and third Mondays of each month, they are bumped to the next week.

DEADLINE: Applications are being accepted until November 30, 2025, for all boards, except for the Golf Commission, which will accept applications until December 29, 2025.
