Help Choose the New Decatur Woods Park Playground!
The playground at Decatur Woods Park is getting replaced next year, and we'd love your help choosing the new design. Six proposals are up for consideration, each offering different play experiences. Visit Engage Olympia to check out the options and vote for your favorite.

2026 Percival Plinth Project Peoples' Choice Award Announced
This year's Peoples' Choice Award goes to Liberty Wept by Christine Rose. Selected through a public vote that drew 917 responses, the 6'3" sculpture is forged from reclaimed steel and was approved for purchase by the Olympia City Council on September 15. After its year-long display at Percival Landing, Liberty Wept will spend a year at City Hall before moving to a permanent location in the community. See it now alongside the other 2026-2027 Percival Plinth Project sculptures, on display through June 2027.
