Over 60 Homes Still Need to Submit Consent Forms
The City of DeKalb is urging residents to return their consent forms for participation in the free Lead Service Line Replacement Program. Thanks to a $3.1 million grant, eligible property owners can have their lead or galvanized water service lines replaced at no cost-but time is running out.
If you received a letter in early May and have not yet responded, please submit your signed consent form as soon as possible.
Why This Matters
Properties with lead or galvanized service lines have been identified for replacement under the Illinois Lead Service Line Replacement and Notification Act. If a consent form is not received:
