A&M-Texarkana Alumnae Amber Adams Earns Award for Excellence in Community Leadership

TEXARKANA, Texas - Texas A&M University-Texarkana's School of Professional Education and Community Engagement (PECE) recently announced Amber Adams as the Fall 2024 recipient of the PECE Community Leadership Excellence Award. This distinguished honor recognizes leaders who have made a lasting impact on their communities through service, innovation, and dedication.

Amber Adams, a proud graduate of TAMUT's Bachelor of Science in Leadership program, currently serves as the Director of Texarkana Engagement at East Texas Food Bank. In her role, Amber has demonstrated an extraordinary ability to foster collaboration and develop initiatives that address critical issues like food insecurity in East Texas. Her leadership, rooted in compassion and community-focused solutions, embodies the mission of PECE: to elevate careers and empower communities.
