USU Research Takes Center Stage at AMSUS Annual Meeting

Robust faculty and student scholarship demonstrates advances in readiness, clinical care, and biomedical discovery.

Faculty, students, and staff from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) made a notable impact at this year's AMSUS - Society of Federal Health Professionals annual meeting during the scientific poster session, showcasing the depth and strength of the university's research portfolio.

USU presenters filled three full double-sided rows of poster displays - one of the largest representations among participating federal health institutions. Research from the F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine, the Daniel K. Inouye Graduate School of Nursing, and multiple USU centers highlighted advances in military medicine, operational readiness, nursing science, and translational research.

Throughout the session, investigators and students engaged attendees in discussions spanning clinical innovation, health systems research, behavioral health, and biomedical discovery. The range of scholarship underscored USU's commitment to advancing evidence-based solutions to the complex health challenges facing Service Members and Veterans.
