Kenyan journalist Jeff Koinange gives a cultural talk to Delegation Staff

Jeff Koinange, who has traversed continents as a journalist and witnessed some of the key events shaping the African continent at large, also shared moments into his illustrious career.

Kenyan journalist Jeff Koinange shared moments with the Delegation of Kenya staff, as he gave a cultural talk.

Koinange is the grandson of the famous senior chief Koinange, after whom a major street in Nairobi is named.

It was a coincidence that Jeff spoke to the staff on 28 July 2026, exactly 66 years to the date Senior Chief Koinange died. The elder Koinange was a freedom fighter and revolutionary, whose story is one of the key ingredients in the making of the modern democracy of Kenya.

Jeff Koinange also shared moments into his illustrious career. He has traversed continents as a journalist and witnessed some of the key events shaping the African continent at large, and Kenya in general.
