Opt In for Online Utility Billing Accounts with Extended Features

Carrollton residents are encouraged to sign up for an online utility billing account to receive extensive customer features. While utility payments are not required to be made online, customers can still take advantage of the benefits simply by setting up an online account.

With an online Utility Bill Account, residents can:

  • Receive important alerts such as bill due dates and late notices via email (default). Text message notifications are also available.
  • View a water bill online as soon as it is available.
  • View usage and 24-month billing history.
  • Request optional payment extensions through the portal.
  • Sync multiple accounts under one profile, and view and manage the bills in one place.
  • Residents, landlords, and property management companies with multiple homes or business holdings can view their entire portfolio through a single customer log-in.
  • Opt to go paperless and access the City's On the Horizon newsletter online at cityofcarrollton.com/onthehorizon, or choose a paper bill option that comes with a paper copy of the newsletter.

As a reminder, payments can be made with just a few clicks, eliminating the hassle of writing checks or visiting City Hall, including monthly Auto-Pay Bank Drafting from a bank account, Bank Online directly from a bank account, and City of Carrollton Online Bill Payment using a credit or debit card.

The updated easy-to-use interface provides a consistent and convenient payment experience across all channels, whether accessing services at home or on the go.

Need an extension? Account holders can easily go through the portal and extend their due date up to 14 days beyond their scheduled date.
