Research!America Advocacy Training Opportunity

ASPPH members in Kansas, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Utah are invited to participate in an upcoming virtual advocacy training hosted by Research!America on October 28 from 12:00-1:00 PM ET. This an exciting opportunity is part of ASPPH's partnership in the Americans for Medical Research Campaign. The session will equip participants with effective strategies for communicating the value of medical research to policymakers and the public.

The interactive training will focus on strengthening advocacy and communication skills through practical exercises in writing op-eds, crafting letters to the editor, and producing impactful social media content. Participants will leave with actionable tools to amplify the voice of academic public health and advance support for evidence-based research. We encourage all eligible members to take advantage of this valuable opportunity.
