Cassidy, Senate Republicans Introduce Bill to Pay Active-Duty Military, Excepted Workers During Schumer Shutdown

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), Ron Johnson (R-WI), Ted Budd (R-NC), Mike Crapo (R-ID), Tom Cotton (R-AR), James Risch (R-ID), Dan Sullivan (R-AK), and Todd Young (R-IN) introduced legislation to ensure federal workers who are excepted, like our active-duty military and air traffic controllers, don't miss a paycheck during a government shutdown.

"Middle-class Americans showing up to work cannot miss multiple paychecks because Democrats shutdown the government," said Dr. Cassidy.
