The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 57 in Weston. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, August 17, 2026, and be completed on Friday, August 21, 2026. The project DOT01730557CN consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.21 - mile segment of Route 57 in Weston from the Old Mill Road #1 to Trails End Road. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Burns Construction on Monday, August 17, to Tuesday August 18. The resurfacing segment of this project by O&G Industries is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, to Friday, August 21, 2026.

This project is included in CTDOT's 2026 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 57 from Old Mill Road #1 to Trails End Road in Weston. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
