Christmas in July: Limited-Edition America 250 Ornament Debuts at the Ohio State Fair

The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) is celebrating Christmas in July with the launch of a special, limited-edition America 250 commemorative ornament honoring Ohio agriculture. The festive collectible will be available exclusively during the 12 days of the Ohio State Fair, July 29 through August 9, inside the new Ohio Proud Showcase.

Created as part of ODA's recognition of the nation's semi quincentennial, the ornament offers Ohioans a unique way to celebrate America's 250th anniversary while supporting one of our state's largest industries - food and agriculture. Limited quantities are available, making the ornament a meaningful keepsake for fairgoers and supporters of Ohio agriculture.

"Whether you ride a green tractor or red sleigh, this ornament is the perfect gift for the holidays," said ODA Director Brian Baldridge. "Ohio farmers and small businesses feed the world, from our state to the North Pole. These ornaments are a unique way to support our producers and small businesses while getting in the holiday spirit."

The ornament will be sold for $10, with proceeds supporting the Ohio Proud program-ODA's statewide marketing initiative that highlights food and agriculture goods that are at least 50% grown, raised, and produced right here in the Buckeye State. Each purchase directly helps uplift Ohio farmers, producers, and small businesses.

Located inside the new Ohio Agriculture Center, the Ohio Proud Showcase features interactive displays, cooking demonstrations, a general store, and more. Brought to you by ODA, the center celebrates our farmers and farming communities.
