ARLINGTON, Va. - The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) today announced the appointment of three senior electroindustry executives to its Board of Directors: Kelly Becker, President of Schneider Electric's North America operations; Sam Chambers, Senior Vice President at Lutron Electronics, and; Kraig Kasler, President of Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify. The appointments strengthen NEMA's leadership at a pivotal moment for the association and the industry it represents, as NEMA embarks on its second century of advancing American manufacturing and innovation.
The new directors join NEMA's Board as electrical manufacturers play an increasingly central role in shaping America's energy and economic future. From grid infrastructure and energy management to intelligent buildings and advanced lighting, the electroindustry is delivering the technologies that will power a stronger, more reliable, and more efficient nation - and these leaders bring the experience and vision to help guide that work.
"From energy management and building controls to lighting and power distribution, Kelly, Sam, and Kraig bring deep expertise across critical segments of the electroindustry," said NEMA President and CEO Debra Phillips. "As NEMA celebrates its centennial and looks toward the next 100 years, their leadership will be instrumental in advancing the policies, standards, and technologies needed to build a more reliable, resilient, and electrified America."
"These appointments reflect the depth of leadership across the electrical manufacturing industry," said NEMA Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth and Membership Alexa Burr. " As NEMA advances its policy agenda and works to strengthen America's energy future, Kelly, Sam, and Kraig will help guide the industry through a period of unprecedented growth and transformation."
