Free Performances, Open Busking, and Community Music Fill Tulsa's Parks for a Global Day of Sound and Celebration

(Tulsa, OK) - Tulsa is turning up the volume this summer solstice. On Saturday, June 21, Tulsa Parks, in partnership with Visit Tulsa, and the Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts and Culture, invites the community to celebrate Make Music Day Tulsa with free live performances and a special one-day waiver of entertainment permits to encourage spontaneous, family-friendly music in parks across the city.

Make Music Day is a global celebration of music held annually on the longest day of the year. It brings communities together through free, open-access performances in public spaces, and this year, Tulsa is joining cities worldwide to make music more accessible and joyful than ever.

Tulsa Parks is proud to collaborate with Visit Tulsa, which is spearheading the city's broader Make Music Day efforts. Visit Tulsa is coordinating performances across the metro area, including registration for musicians, venues, and music lovers interested in hosting or attending pop-up shows throughout the day.
