Rockville Park and City open space areas to close for Fourth of July weekend
Rockville Park and City open space areas will close after dark on Friday, July 3, as part of the City's normal Fourth of July park closure procedures.
The closure will be in effect Saturday, July 4, through Sunday, July 5. Reopening is planned for early Monday morning, July 6. The temporary closure supports public safety during the holiday weekend and helps reduce fire risk in park and open space areas.
City staff will close the park after dark on Friday evening and reopen the area early Monday morning.
