The opening reception for Studio 18 Art Complex's new exhibition, Born of Earth and Sky: Palette Knife Perspectives on Florida's Fragile Ecosystems, will be held on August 15 from 7 pm to 9 pm at Studio 18 located at 1101 Poinciana Drive. Visitors will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of vibrant colors and textures created by the talented Palette Knife Artists of Miami. Through vivid, textural paintings created solely with palette knives, this exhibition explores the delicate beauty and environmental urgency of South Florida's ecosystems. Featuring evocative works of mangroves, coral reefs (both thriving and bleached), birds, turtles, and butterflies, the show invites us to reconnect with the wild and reflect on what's at stake in a changing climate. All ages are welcome to this evening of art, conversation, light refreshments, and live music. Admission and parking are free.
