CDA Bancha meets Secretary General of Jubillee Medical Insurance, an alternative health insurance for undocumented Thai workers in the ROK

On 5 June 2025, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Chargé d'affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, had a meeting with Ms. Park Jum-nam, Secretary General of the Jubillee Medical Insurance, to learn about terms and conditions on applying for health insurance for undocumented Thai workers in the ROK.

The Secretary General informed that Jubillee Medical Insurance is a private organisation, aiming to provide assistance to foreign workers and their families who live in the ROK without visas and are not able to apply for the ROK's National Health Insurance. Applying for Jubilee Medical Insurance's health insurance can be done at the Jubillee Medical Insurance headquarter in Seoul by paying a membership fee and a monthly fee. The members will receive a discount on medical expenses from over 500 hospitals and clinics in the ROK which are coordinating with the Jubillee Medical Insurance.
