Closure of ramp from WB U.S. 50 to MO 291 in Lee's Summit for pavement work, April 20-May 25

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct various traffic modifications on U.S. 50 and MO 291 for pavement work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Monday, April 20 at 4:00 a.m. until Monda, May 25, at 5:00 p.m.

  • Crews will CLOSE the ramp from WB U.S. 50 to MO 291.
  • Crews will CLOSE left turn movements on EB U.S. 50 to NB MO 291.

This is part of a larger project at MO 291N and U.S. 50, which includes bridge replacement, road realignment, and ADA improvements from SE 7th Terrace to SE Oldham Parkway in Lee's Summit with a completion date of January 2027.
