Workshops on potential regulation of smoking at multi-unit housing properties

The City of Hayward is considering potential regulation of smoking in multi-unit housing and is seeking the involvement of tenants and property owners and managers.

As part of this process, the City is holding two workshops to provide presentations and gather feedback on regulation of smoking in multi-unit housing and the potential impacts.

The first Smoke-Free Housing presentation and feedback session is intended for tenants and is scheduled for May 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Eden Youth and Family Center, 680 W. Tennyson Road. Please register to attend here.

The second Smoke-Free Housing presentation and feedback session is intended for property managers and owners and is scheduled for May 22, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., at Hayward City Hall, Conference Room 1C. Please register to attend here.
