Delta Air Lines Adds Third Daily Frequency Between Quad Cities and Atlanta

February 11, 2026

Quad Cities International Airport (MLI) announced that Delta Air Lines will add a third daily nonstop flight to its global hub in Atlanta (ATL) beginning May 21, departing at 11 a.m. Tickets for the additional frequency are on sale now.

The added service reflects Delta's continued confidence in the Quad Cities market and responds to rising passenger demand. With three daily departures to Atlanta, travelers will benefit from improved schedule flexibility and expanded connectivity to Delta's extensive domestic and international network.

"Additional frequencies are a meaningful way airlines demonstrate confidence in a market," said Benjamin Leischner, A.A.E., executive director, Quad Cities International Airport. "We're grateful to Delta for their continued investment in the Quad Cities and for being a strong partner in bringing more air service to our region. This added frequency gives our passengers more options and better access to Delta's global reach."

New routes and added frequencies are often years in the making. Discussions around increased Delta service began more than a year ago, underscoring the long-term planning and collaboration required to grow air service sustainably.

The announcement builds on recent air service growth at MLI, including additional frequencies to Chicago by United Airlines, expanded service to Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth along with the addition of daily service to Charlotte by American Airlines, and seasonal service to Sarasota through Allegiant.

Together, these additions signal strong regional demand and reinforce Quad Cities International Airport's role in connecting the region to key national and global destinations.
