This summer, our Pacific Islands Regional Office interns partnered with local communities, businesses, and researchers to address critical marine fisheries questions. Their work spanned nearshore gamefish monitoring, loko i'a (Hawaiian fishpond) research, Hawaiian monk seal conservation, and aquaculture permitting.
