UC Aspire is launching a free 16-week GED Prep Program at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College starting the week of Jan. 26.
Designed for adult learners, the program provides in-person evening classes, personalized tutoring and access to online study tools to help participants prepare for the GED exam and the next step in their education or career.
Orientation will be held Jan. 20-22 on UC Clermont's Batavia campus, with classes offered Monday through Thursday evenings from 7-9 p.m. Learners can focus on individual subjects or prepare for all four GED test sections: math, social studies, reasoning through language arts and science.
At the end of the program, participants will take a free GED Ready exam and receive a voucher covering the full cost of the official GED test. Additional supports include educational assessments, career planning, tutoring, Kaplan's "GED Test Prep Plus 2024-2025" book, laptops for classroom use and the official GED-approved TI-30XS calculator.

UC Aspire programs focus on helping unemployed and underemployed individuals gain skills to increase their employment and earning potential and transition to post-secondary education and training.
