Cincinnati Children's is the highest-ranked organization in Southwest Ohio in this year's recognition of America's Best Employers for New Grads by Forbes, which includes companies across all industries

Of the 500 companies cited by Forbes for 2026, Cincinnati Children's ranked No. 76 overall among the Best Employers for New Grads - placing among the top six pediatric health systems in the nation. This is the seventh year Cincinnati Children's has made the list since Forbes began the recognition in 2018.

"Cincinnati Children's supports continuous learning, advancement and the opportunity to make a difference from the very beginning of a young person's career," said Peter Adebi, chief human resources officer and senior vice president. "For individuals who want to fully develop their talents, Cincinnati Children's is an exceptional place to do so.

"Being the nation's leading pediatric health system means attracting top talent who collaborate and train alongside experienced clinicians, researchers and support teams," Adebi added. "This approach helps ensure patients and families receive outstanding care and outcomes, while giving new graduates invaluable hands-on experience working with seasoned professionals."

Cincinnati Children's support for new grads includes a Young Professionals employee resource group. The Young Professionals group hosts career development and networking events, and it facilitates community service and fundraising opportunities.

The voluntary turnover rate among employees at Cincinnati Children's is in the single digits, which ranks among the top 10% for health systems.

Forbes and market research firm Statista compiled the latest ranking based on a survey of young professionals at companies with at least 1,000 employees. Recent graduates indicated the likelihood they would recommend their employer to others, and they evaluated their company in areas such as reputation, compensation and benefits, advancement opportunities, working conditions and resources. Those surveyed also evaluated other employers in their industry.
