Inaugural visit from Pakistani ambassador

On Monday, October 21, 2024, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Syed Qaiser Abbas Shah, on his inaugural visit.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the bilateral relations between Croatia and Pakistan and the potential to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of defence collaboration, energy, the food industry, infrastructure, and maritime cooperation.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on the current geopolitical and security situation in the region and the world.
