On Thursday, State Rep. Blaine Wilhour accepted an invitation to speak to two 5th Grade classes at Sandoval Elementary School in Marion County. Afterwards, the principal Adam Hanks provided a tour of the school and explained their efforts to make upgrades to the facility.
"Thank you to Ms. Tonya Pryor and Ms. Kaylee Goosetree for the invitation to speak about our American system of government and the Constitutional Republic established by our Founding Fathers to create the greatest country the world has ever known," said Wilhour. " There were good questions, and I think it is important for young people to learn early about the rights and responsibilities of each citizen to know about how the government is supposed to work for the people…not the people working for the government."
