Minister Shahin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Varsen Shahin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Khaleel, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Minister Shahin expressed her appreciation to the Government and people of the Maldives for their continued support for the State of Palestine in various international forums, their longstanding and principled position, as well as the humanitarian assistance provided by the Maldivian government to the Palestinian people. She affirmed the deep fraternal relations between the two countries.

The two sides discussed the latest political and humanitarian developments related to the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the priority of achieving a comprehensive ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, in addition to enhancing bilateral relations across various fields.
