Edmonton Regional Airports Authority - Enforcement Action

(A) On or about November 18, 2025, the Edmonton Regional Airports Authority failed to ensure that the door to the designated relief area for service dogs, located in the Edmonton International Airport Terminal, Domestic/International Departures and Arrivals lounge, subject to any requirements under Part 4, Division 2, was in good working order and properly maintained, thereby contravening subsection 231(1) of the Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations.

(B) On or between November 18, 2025 and December 2, 2025, the Edmonton Regional Airports Authority failed to ensure that the door to the designated relief area for service dogs, located in the Edmonton International Airport Terminal, Domestic/International Departures and Arrivals lounge, was repaired as soon as possible when it was not in good working order, and until the door was repaired, failed to take measures that would result in a substantially equivalent or greater level of accessibility for persons with disabilities, contrary to subsection 231(2) of the Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations.
