Lava Hot Springs to host Governor Little's next "Capital for a Day" event
Thursday September 17, 2026Boise, Idaho - Governor Brad Little's next "Capital for a Day" event will be held in Lava Hot Springs on Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lava Senior Center and Community Center, located at 150 N Center St, Lava Hot Springs, ID 83246.
Officials joining Governor Little include:
- Idaho Department of Agriculture Director Chanel Tewalt
- Idaho Department of Water Resources Director Mat Weaver
- Idaho Department of Environmental Quality Director Jess Byrne
- Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Director Juliet Charron
- Idaho Department of Lands Director Dustin Miller
- Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation Director Susan Buxton
- Idaho Transportation Department Director Alberto Gonzalez
- Idaho Department of Finance Director Salvador Cruz
"It is an honor to bring my next Capital for a Day to Lava Hot Springs," Governor Little said. "I look forward to hearing directly from the people of Bannock County about what matters most to them.
