Richard T. Castro Human Services Center closed July 8-10; Welcome Center to close permanently July 8

The Denver Human Services location at the Richard T. Castro Human Services Center (1200 Federal Blvd.) will be closed from Wednesday, July 8 to Friday, July 10, for construction.

The building will reopen on Monday, July 13 at 8 a.m. with the following services provided in a temporary lobby on the first floor:

  • Food, cash and medical assistance
  • Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) services
  • Outreach Case Coordinator (OCC) services
  • Child Support Services
  • GIVE Center

The Welcome Center (2929 W. 10th Ave.) will close permanently on July 8 with all services relocating to the Richard T. Castro Human Services Center, as noted above. Here are closure details for Welcome Center programs:

  • The GIVE Center at the Welcome Center will close on July 6
  • Child Support Services at the Welcome Center will close on July 8
