Fredericksburg, Texas - City of Fredericksburg buildings, facilities and offices will alter hours of operation in observance of Independence Day, Friday, July 4. Changes to regular operating hours are as follows:
City Hall
Closed Friday, July 4 | Reopening Monday, July 7
Animal Shelter
Closed Friday, July 4 | Reopening Monday, July 7
Gillespie County Health Division
Closed Friday, July 4 | Reopening Monday, July 7
Law Enforcement Offices
Closed Friday, July 4 | Reopening Monday, July 7
Municipal Court
Closed Friday, July 4 | Reopening Monday, July 7
Recycling Center
Closed Friday, July 4 & Saturday, July 5 | Reopening Monday, July 7
Sanitary Landfill
Closed Friday, July 4 & Saturday, July 5 | Reopening Monday, July 7
Garbage collection will remain on the regular schedule. There are no garbage collection holidays, but customers are asked to have their trash can out to the curb by 7 a.m.
Many City staff will be involved in the production of the July 4th Main Street Parade at 10 a.m. and the fireworks at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park at 9:30 p.m.
Two of the City's aquatic facilities will be open on July 4, including Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park Pool (1-6:30 p.m.) and the Splash Pad from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Coach Tony Knopp Town Pool may remain closed due to limited staffing availability.
