Supporting Those Impacted by Southern California’s Wildfires

As catastrophic wildfires continue to spread across Southern California, Uber is taking action to help those affected.

What You Need to Know

Uber is partnering with local authorities and first responders to help residents safely evacuate if they need to. As part of our commitment to supporting those in need, we are providing rides to designated shelters, up to $40 per trip*, for anyone who needs assistance getting to a safe place.

"We're teaming up with local authorities and emergency teams to make sure everyone who needs help evacuating gets a ride," said Camiel Irving, Uber's Vice President of Operations.

"We're staying closely connected with state officials and ready to do everything we can to support those impacted by the fires."

Here is a list of the active shelters in the affected areas.

Please note: Some areas, like those under mandatory evacuation orders, will not have Uber service available.

How to Redeem Your Free Ride

To redeem this offer, evacuees must apply the promo code "WILDFIRE25" in the Wallet section of the Uber app before requesting a ride to one of the designated shelters.
