Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised TTR Energy, a key player in France's energy transition, on a €240 million senior bank loan for the construction and operation of a 22-turbine wind farm with a total capacity of 150 MW in the department of the Ardennes.
The 22-turbine wind farm project is the largest inland wind farm financing in France to date.
This wind farm is part of the Hexagon Renewable Energy portfolio, the main investment vehicle managed by TTR Energy, and is scheduled to be brought into commercial service by the end of 2027, providing 350 GWh of renewable electricity per year.
The wind farm project was financed by BPCE Energeco, Banque Populaire Rives de Paris, Caisse d'Epargne Grand Est Europe, Caisse d'Epargne Ile-de-France and CIC CIB.
The Paris-based Norton Rose Fulbright team advising TTR Energy on the tax aspects of the operation was led by Head of Tax Europe Middle East and Asia and partner Antoine Colonna d'Istria with support from associate Alexandra Bloch-Manikow.
Alaïa Advisory acted as financial advisor to TTR Energy in structuring and executing the transaction.
