Commissioners announce recipients of 2024 Community Enhancement Grants Posted Thursday, November 14, 2024

The Delaware County Commissioners today announced the recipients of their 2024 Community Enhancement Grants, totaling $234,066.44.

The county's CEG program distributes money from the county's general fund to local nonprofit organizations, funding specific capital projects.

The 2024 recipients, project summaries and grant amounts are:

• Boardman Arts Park, Inc. - construction of an entrance gate on West William Street: $25,000
• Central Ohio Symphony - Link Up education program for county fourth graders: $7,500
• Delaware County Cultural Arts Center - replacement of The Arts Castle front porch: $11,160
• Delaware County Historical Society - accessibility upgrades to restrooms at the Cryder Research Library: $9,947.50
• Del-Mor Dwellings - purchase of a new maintenance vehicle: $30,000
• HelpLine of Delaware and Morrow Counties - installation of acoustic panels in workspace and an outside pick-up box: $5,000
• Main Street Delaware, Inc. - production of videos promoting downtown Delaware businesses: $20,000
• Recreation Unlimited Farm and Fun, Inc. - upgrades to pool: $14,114.94
• Strand Theatre and Cultural Arts Association - replacement of building marquee: $25,000
• Stratford Ecological Center - accessibility upgrades to entryway and restrooms: $25,161
• Turning Point - installation of natural-gas generator at Delaware domestic violence shelter: $26,183
• Westerville Area Resource Ministry - replacement of main parking lot: $10,000
• Women's City Club Foundation - installation of HVAC duct work: $25,000
