The City of Frederick Council has requested a Closed Session on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. The Council President will request a vote of the Council to convene in Closed Session at City Hall.
This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article ยง3-305(b)(1)(i) to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of an appointee, employee, or official over whom it has jurisdiction. The reason for closing the meeting is to allow the Council to candidly discuss proposed salary and a recommendation from the Personnel Board.
Council President Nash will entertain a motion to this effect and will comply fully with the Open Meetings Act.
