Weather Notice: Monitoring Nor’easter and Coastal Flooding

The University's Public Safety and Facilities departments are closely monitoring weather conditions expected across Long Island and New York City this weekend.
A nor'easter is predicted to bring rain, high winds and coastal flooding to Long Island and New York City from Friday, September 25, through Sunday, September 27. Local authorities have issued warnings for steady rain and elevated winds, possible power disruptions and flooding on some local roads.
We advise all community members on and off campus to exercise caution this weekend: allow extra travel time and strictly avoid driving or walking through deep water or flooded roadways.
