Sevilla, June 3, 2025.- As part of his official tour of Europe, Jaime Díaz, Executive Vice President of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), carried out a strategic agenda in Seville, Spain, aimed at strengthening partnerships with the private sector and highlighting the Bank's efforts in regional integration and gender equity.
A key activity of the visit was a business forum organized by Andalucía Trade, which brought together over 20 companies from sectors including technology, infrastructure, logistics, agribusiness, and health. During the event, Mr. Díaz engaged in dialogue with business leaders on investment opportunities in Central America and shared CABEI's initiatives aimed at driving prosperity, boosting competitiveness, and improving quality of life across the region.
He also participated in the Ibero-American CEAPI Congress, where he joined the closing panel "Women Leading Development: Leadership and Integration in Latin America and the Caribbean." There, he underscored CABEI's concrete progress in advancing gender equality and recognized the essential role of women as key agents of economic growth and social cohesion in the region. He also delivered the closing remarks for the first day of the event.
These activities are part of CABEI's ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with international stakeholders and to position itself as a strategic ally in advancing the national development agendas of its member countries.
