Lima Memorial Health System will honor its Volunteers at its annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet Hawaiian Luau style Wednesday, April 10 at the Old Barn Out Back. The program begins at noon with the awards ceremony beginning at approximately 1:15 p.m. The event will include a special performance by the Liberty Arts Magnet Steel Drum Band.

More than 140 awards will be presented to 120 volunteers beginning at 250 hours of service. Two volunteers will be recognized for achieving the outstanding milestone of 21,000 hours of service. A special award will include the 2018 Rookie of the Year Award.

National Volunteer Appreciation Week provides us a special opportunity to honor our volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to the health system all throughout the year. Lima Memorial is proud to have more than 300 active volunteers serving in many different areas of the hospital. In 2018, our volunteers donated more than 70,000 hours of service.
