Valleywise Health Earns Gold Status in Healthy Arizona Worksite Program

PHOENIX, Ariz. - Valleywise Health is proud to announce it has earned Gold Status in the Healthy Arizona Worksites Program (HAWP), a statewide initiative recognized by the Arizona Department of Health Services. The award honors Valleywise Health's dedication to promoting the health and well-being of its employees, their families, and the community through evidence-based workplace wellness initiatives.

The Healthy Arizona Worksites Program is a collaborative effort between the Arizona Department of Health Services and the Maricopa County Department of Public Health. The program provides employers with training, technical assistance, tools, and resources to develop, implement, and evaluate workplace wellness strategies that support healthier employees and healthier workplaces.

Gold Status recognizes organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to employee well-being by integrating health-promoting policies, programs, and benefits into the workplace. Award recipients are recognized for fostering a culture of wellness and using evidence-based approaches to improve employee health outcomes.
