Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation to Host Public Open House on Jones Park Disc Golf

Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation invites the community to a public open house to share ideas and feedback on the future of disc golf at Jones Park. The open house will take place on Wednesday, January 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Jones Park Lodge, 2901 Fruitland Boulevard SW.

The event is open to the public and provides an opportunity for disc golfers, park users, and neighborhood residents to help shape future improvements to the Jones Park disc golf course.

Jones Park has been part of the City's long-term vision to expand and enhance recreational opportunities that meet the diverse needs of the community. Public input has played a key role in shaping improvements at the park, including amenities such as disc golf, pickleball, pollinator areas, and future park features.

Those who are unable to attend the open house in person can participate by completing an online survey at CityOfCR.com/DiscGolfSurvey. The survey will remain open through Friday, January 23, allowing residents additional time to share their ideas and priorities.
