The Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) has heard reports of private financial or investment advisory companies reaching out to state employees and implying they're affiliated with ERS or the State of Texas. We want to remind you of the services available to state agency employees and some higher education staff.
Texa$averSM 401(k) / 457 Program participants can use the program's retirement planning services at no cost and investment advisory services at a lower cost than many other financial and investment advisors. Empower manages this service. Use this map to find a Texa$aver Retirement Plan Advisor (RPA) convenient to you. They can offer you a great deal of overall financial assistance associated with your pension and Texa$aver assets. This is offered at no cost to you as part of our contract with the plan administrator.
If you would like more in-depth help with choosing your investments, you can sign up for optional managed account services at a competitive rate. The managed service is specific to the investment products offered within Texa$aver's core lineup.
