A bombshell report reveals that political opportunist Paige Cognetti appointed dangerous criminal Michael Villa to Scranton city government while he was facing DUI charges. Villa, who caused a citywide lockdown last week, was arrested in 2022 for driving under the influence of alcohol with his five-month-old son in the car. Villa was subsequently arrested two more times, including on the same day he attended his first meeting of Scranton's Human Relations Commission after being appointed in 2023.
When asked to comment about her appointment of someone who thinks it's ok to drive under the influence with an infant in the car, Cognetti was silent.
"Paige Cognetti put Scranton at risk by knowingly appointing a dangerous criminal to city government and now is refusing to answer for her decision. Cowardly Cognetti must answer for her reckless endangerment of Pennsylvania children." - NRCC Spokesman Reilly Richardson
