As a member of the Talent Acquisition Team at WebFX, partnerships are everything for Emily Buseck.

In her role, Buseck acts as both recruiter and resource by attending career fairs and presenting to classes and student organizations. In this way she is able to connect with students and get a good read on the kind of talent that may be a good fit for Web FX.

"As an employer partner, I help students take their first steps into the post-college workforce," explained Buseck. "By building these connections, I hope to make a difference in the lives of those who come to work at WebFX after they graduate."

Many of those first steps with WebFX have been made by Commonwealth University grads.

Buseck may be new to the position, but she is not new to the kind of employees that Commonwealth graduates. She recently attended a Career Connections Expo on the Bloomsburg campus and met students who she says were well prepared and eager to connect.

"The students had questions prepared, resumes on hand, and were intentional about stopping by to discuss full-time and internship opportunities," recalled Buseck. "They were mindful of other students' time and didn't come across as pushy or impatient while waiting for their turn to chat with me.

"My team at WebFX has hired many talented CU alumni, and we look forward to continuing to grow our team with more," concluded Buseck. "Recruit these students if given the chance!"
