Gilbert, Ariz. - TheGilbert Police Department wants every student heading to prom to have a night they'll remember for all the right reasons. Officers will be visible throughout the weekend to support safe and responsible celebrations.
Parents: Stay in the Loop
Before your teen heads out the door, know where they're going, who they're with, and how to reach them throughout the night.
Remind your teen: if they see something concerning or unsafe, call police immediately.
Know the Curfew
Under Gilbert's curfew ordinance:
If your teen has after-prom plans that run late, make sure those plans are arranged in advance and that you've communicated clearly about the timeline. On the Road After Prom
Prom night puts a lot of new and young drivers on the road at late hours. Whether it's the drive home from the venue or a stop after the dance, the basics matter more than ever.
Eyes on the road. Phone in your pocket. Seatbelt on. Follow the speed limit.
Remember: underage drinking is illegal, and no prom night is worth making a dangerous decision.
A Night to Remember
Gilbert PD officers will be out across the town to make sure every student gets home safely.
