Rep. Flood Announces Start of 2025 Congressional App Challenge for Middle and High School Coders

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA - Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced the launch of the 2025 Congressional App Challenge. The Congressional App Challenge invites middle and high school students across the country to sharpen their coding skills and inspire them to pursue careers in computer science.

"Nebraska continues to grow its reputation as the 'Silicon Prairie,' thanks in part to our students' innovative and creative approaches to today's challenges," said Congressman Flood. "Whether you're just starting your coding journey or preparing to apply to college for computer science, I encourage all students across Nebraska's First District to register and enter for this year's challenge."

Deadline for registration is October 15th, 2025, while the deadline for submissions is October 30th, 2025.
