WASHINGTON, D.C. - The newly launched Make America Beautiful Again Commission rightly highlights not only the importance of wildlife and habitat conservation as part of the country's history, but also the need to invest in local, state, and federal conservation solutions.
"Wildlife and wild places are at the center of our shared history and heritage," said Collin O'Mara, president and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation. "The Make America Beautiful Again Commission will help ensure that we not only celebrate our shared outdoor heritage, but also address the immense and interconnected challenges facing wildlife, habitat, and people. We look forward to working with the commission to realize its goals and provide States, Tribes, and private landowners with the conservation tools necessary and to ensure our clean water, air, and lands endure for future generations."
