Rep. Nicole La Ha hosts “Valentines for Veterans” Card Drive

This Valentine's Day season, State Representative Nicole La Ha is inviting the community to help brighten the day of local veterans with her "Valentines for Veterans" card drive. Running now through February 13, the drive encourages residents of all ages to write heartfelt messages of appreciation for the men and women who've served our country.

"This Valentine's Day, we have a chance to do something small that can make a big impact," said Rep. La Ha. "Our veterans deserve to know they're remembered, valued, and appreciated for their service. These cards are a simple but meaningful way to show we care. Together, let's make this Valentine's Day a special one for the heroes among us"

Anyone can participate by creating a card and dropping it off at Rep. La Ha's district office, located at 12271 Walker Road in Lemont. The office is open Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and Fridays from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. All cards must be received by February 13 so Rep. La Ha can personally deliver them to local veterans on Valentine's Day.
