GCSU Choral Ensembles Concert: "Nature and the Divine"

Saturday, October 18 - Georgia College & State University's Department of Music proudly presents "Nature and the Divine," an uplifting evening of choral music featuring the university's three choral ensembles: Women's Ensemble, Max Noah Singers, and University Chorus. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Russell Auditorium. The performance will showcase the talents of guest composer and conductor Dr. Raphael Fusco, alongside Dr. Jennifer Flory and Dr. Dana Gorzelany-Mostak. The choirs will be joined by pianists Dr. Hue Jang and Dr. Lev Ryabinin, with guest musicians and student conductors. The concert explores themes of nature and spirituality through varied repertoire by such composers as Fusco, Gustav Holst, and Rosephanye Powell. A suggested donation of $5 is encouraged.
