During 18 - 20 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will pay a working visit to Japan to promote bilateral relations under theComprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) framework and discuss cooperation in economic, security and other areas of mutual benefit, as well as regional developments.

The Foreign Minister is scheduled to have a bilateral discussion with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, as well as meet with the Chair of The Japan-Thailand Parliamentarians Friendship Group and members of the Japanese National Diet. He will also meet with representatives of the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren) and Japanese business leaders from JETRO to discuss ways to advance cooperation in trade and investment as well as people-to-people ties in light of the 140th anniversary of the establishment of Thailand - Japan diplomatic relations in 2027.

The Foreign Minister will exchange views with Japanese academics on enhancing collaboration between Thailand and Japan to promote peace and stability at the regional and international frameworks.
