COLUMBUS-State Representative Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) recently attended the Norwood Inn Tear Down Ceremony in the Village of Boston Heights.
The Village of Boston Heights received $885,000 through the Ohio Demolition and Site Revitalization Program for the abatement and demolition project of the deteriorated Norwood Inn on Dean Memorial Parkway. The project will pave the way for future development opportunities and community revitalization in Boston Heights.
"This project will remove a long-time community eyesore and lead to additional development and tax revenues for our local community," said Roemer.
The Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program, created by the Ohio General Assembly and Governor Mike DeWine, is designed to provide grants for the demolition of commercial and residential buildings and revitalization of surrounding properties on sites that are not Brownfields.
