From Darkness to Light Screening at Malibu City Hall Friday, May 30

Malibu Film Society's Special Event Series at City Hall resumes this Friday, with a free community screening of FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT. Doors open at 7PM for the free pre-show wine reception prior to the 7:30 show.

This 108-minute documentary finally answers a question that's baffled Hollywood insiders for over 50 years: why did Jerry Lewis' final self-directed movie suddenly disappear (before it was shown)? Contemporary interviews with filmmakers like Martin Scorsese and newly discovered clips from the lost film finally shed light on what really happened.

Jerry's son, Chris Lewis, is confirmed to attend for an audience Q&A after the show. Sponsored by MFS and the City of Malibu, admission is FREE* for all Malibu residents who book their seats in advance at www.MalibuFilmSociety.org.
